We deliver Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Online education, Certified training, BHS CPD and Knowledge sessions for Horse-owners in the UK and Overseas
Our Aim
Our aim is to deliver, to the horse owner, relevant learning material, in a wide range of formats. We wish to help owners increase their own equine knowledge in a professional manner resulting in an improvement in the health and well being of their animals
Equine Experts
All our courses are run by subject experts in their required field to ensure professional standards are maintained. This is essential to be able to deliver an E-horse session for us.
Support for You
We aim to support local equine experts in our sessions. This way, after a session, you can always approach them and ask for further guidance and services to help you and your horse.
Prices
We are a not-for-profit company and we aim to keep our courses affordable for all to attend. Our ethos is to make education available as possible to help improve equine welfare
For all Horse Lovers
We are open to all horse- lovers. You do not need to own a horse- just want to learn. We have attendees from top trainers to school children attend the same sessions. All are given a warm welcome and leave enthused.
Our CPD Sessions
Online

We offer a range of Certified Online Equine and Equine Business courses through our online learning zone. All are studied at your own pace when you want.
Webinars

Our Horse-owner webinar CPD sessions are delivered by professionals online and allow for you attend from home and speak to experts virtually.
Seminars

We regularly run CPD seminars for Horse-owners. These sessions are run by experts in their required field to ensure professional standards are maintained
Practicals

Our Horse-owner practical CPD sessions are ground half day sessions, normally held at the weekends. We offer combined theory, demo’s and hand-on sessions.
CPD FAQ
What is CPD?
CPD is Continuing Professional Development and is the process of tracking and recording the knowledge, skills and any experience you gain as you work. This is either formally (attendance and delivered information) or informally (self -directed).
Do I RECORD IT?
Yes. You should keep a record of any CPD you do both for your own growth and for auditing by some organisations. Some membership organisation (BHS, ABRS, RCVS etc…) require you to complete CPD every year.
What is a portfolio?
A portfolio is where you capture all your learning and activities you have completed. It also can help you plan your CPD pathway.
What CAn I USE AS A PORTFOLIO ?
You can use any paper based booklet/file to store your CPD. You should try and time stamp it for auditing.Online tools are also available from providers (check with your membership body); but you can also use free software such as Evernote, Google Keep or One Note to record and photos, videos, and documents.
Is What is the difference between certification and qualification?
Qualifications are listed on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which is the national framework of UK qualifications: such as GCSE, A level, AS level and vocational (work related) qualifications. A Certificate of achievement is issued by an Awarding Organisation for reaching the competencies required in a specific area.
Why should i do cpd ?
Completing CPD is purely your own choice. However, completing CPD allows you identify specific skills and knowledge in order to be confident within their proficiency and skill sets and achieve a recognisable improvement and growth
