As a Strangles Ambassador Strangles Awareness Week 2021 and with the support of Redwings we bring you a FREE course for all Horseowners
A free online equine learning course to increase the horse owners knowledge to help prevent the spread of equine strangles, action to take in case of an outbreak; and to instigate preventive measures to help prevent spread. Optional Recognised Certification with UKRS available.
Within this 1.5 hour online course you will cover the following:

- Testing and Diagnosis for Strangles
- Treatment for Strangles
- Isolation
- Enrichment for the Isolated Horses
- Biosecurity
- Post Infection Action

- Assessment
To achieve optional UKRS Certification an online MCQ Assessment is completed at the end of the course and £7 subsided certification fee is payable. (1.5 hours CPD)

UKRS Certification
If you would like to complete the Equine Strangles: Awareness and Prevention Online CPD Course and gain UK Rural Skills Certification you will need to pass the end of course assessment and pay a contribution of £7 towards the awarding body fees.
The regulatory cost of this course is subsided by E-horse (Equine) CPD to allow it to be available to as many as possible for free. We ask for a contribution for administrative costs for a fully recognised Certification being issued upon successful completion of the course for those that request it.
